Maissa Ballout Shamshoum

Maissa born and raised in Peqqiin Village in North Israel. Upon completion of 2 years national services she went to study Accounting and Economics at Haifa University, graduated in 2006. After getting the CPA license she joined Ernst & Young, and became a manager for different industrial and high-tech portfolio until 2011. During the time between 2011 and 2014 she worked for Babcom Centers as controller. In 2014 Maissa joined Rivulis Plastro Ltd headquarters to lead the global consolidation and treasury for 9 entities and more than 30 banks accounts worldwide. From 2016 until 2020, Maissa moved to work for a massive textile industrial global company, Tefron Ltd. Through her role she led both the finance departments in Jordan and Israel. During this time, she was awarded to study in Northwestern University in Chicago and to accomplish her executive MBA degree, the “Kellogg-Recanati” Program. In 2020, one year after the graduation, Maissa joined Goldencare Medical centers as a CFO. Aside her career Maissa is a board member in EEW, an audit board member in Hasoub and in the Co-Impact young forum. She is also a Mentor and lecturer in FEMFORWARD program in Jerusalem. In addition to that Maissa helps and consult to several startups in the Arab community in Israel since 2012. Maissa often commentates on various Israeli and foreign conferences, led the light on women empowerment, Business in the Arab community as well as the Arab Israeli economic “street”. Maissa today lives in Nazareth with her husband and three children.
