Meir Rakocz

Meir Rakocz graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He also post-graduated from specialty studies in Pediatric Dentistry at the Children’s hospital of Philadelphia, from the Faculty of Dental-medicine, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Finally, he completed his Masters degree in health administration – MHA at the Recanati business school in Tel Aviv University. Since 1982 he is the Head and founder of the Pediatric and hospital dental division, The Chaim Sheba medical center, Tel-Hashomer, Israel. He has been involved in multiple activities and organisms in the field, namely, he was the past president of the Israeli society of Pediatric dentistry, active Member of the American Academy of Pediatric dentistry (AAPD) and Board certified of the AAPD, member of the IADH (International association for Disability and oral health) and Member of the Medical Simulation Center – MSR in the Chaim Sheba Medical center among others. Another fascinating side of Meir has been his passion for photography; he participated recently in an Israeli-Palestinian art exhibition in the Memoire de L’Avenir (memory of the future) Gallery in Paris and in a solo exhibition at the Ramat Gan Museum of Israeli Art. Currently, he is an IPCC Board Members. He is married and has three children.
